This collection is born out of mourning, a place where I found myself lost for words, but being able to translate sorrow into something physical. Throughout the designing and making process, this collection gave me a way to deal with death. Every piece symbolises a part of me, my journey or inspiration found in the things around me that remind me of this part of life. Memento Mori is a reminder to live life fully, because death is inevitable.
